There is no such law saying Ethiopia cannot build a dam with in its sovereign border. Egypt cannot rely on the dam and hold Ethiopia responsible for its water security, Egypt must find an alternative solution which does not breach Ethiopias self determination.

🇪🇬 has a better chance of reaching the dam from 🇪🇬 than 🇸🇴. The dam is in the north-west with heavy security such as domes, several villages were resettled. Vast majority of the security comes from Israel, The 🇪🇬 gov uses the dam as propaganda to distract their own citizens

Correct however the name Ethiopia was adopted by king Ezana and he claimed the name Ethiopia for our country in the 4th century
Also Abyssinia was never claimed by us it was instead used by foreigners to refer to us
