True - most WW2 casualties were between Russia & Germany. That said, US industry produced almost 2/3 of all the Allied military equipment (297K aircraft, 193K artillery pieces, 86K tanks and two million trucks) All in all, it was kind of a group effort.

With respect, Ganesh, Ukraine already demilitarized once when they gave up their nukes in exchange for Russia recognizing Ukrainian borders. Ukraine is not going to make the same mistake twice. The fact they are fighting as hard and successfully as they are is proof of that.
