When I’m not rummaging around in production I spend my energy making it easier to understand, and eventually more reliable.

Yay 🍾 the Reliability issue of @IncrementMag is out today! 🥳 I’m really proud to have contributed an article to the issue - it was an absolutely joy working with their amazing editors @rebeccahiscott and @ohreallysid

@mikker @Mikkel_Hartmann @jmckinven Even more pictures here ✨ very happy with how it turned out. I made the internal room divider too long, but when it holds the keyboard you don’t notice much 😮💨

@raycastapp For both Notes and Ask AI I'd love the ability to configure them to auto-hide when they loose focus.

@mikker @Mikkel_Hartmann Soon he’ll have a custom made tiny bag for his tiny keyboards as well 😝 it’s a gift so won’t share final pictures until he’s gotten and I I have verified the keyboard actually fits

@thomaspaulmann I’d love the to have keyboard shortcut layers with visual guidance. E.g let’s say I want to bind ‘hyper+r’ and the ‘s’ to open Snippets, or ‘c’ for Clipboard History then ‘hyper+r’ should show me the options for the next keys r or c in a subtle but pretty way ✨

@tirtaatraycast I found the solution in your docs here: In my integration between Karabiner Elements and Raycast I had to pass the `-g` open when opening the deeplink ☺️

Reading through this post I’m simultaneously impressed with all the engineering feats that the team accomplished to bend Kubernetes to our needs and at the same time really damn excited that I can soon forget about all this complexity and enjoy the simplicity of the architecture we’ve built out of Flex.
We are no longer using Kubernetes to build Gitpod. "Kubernetes is the obvious choice building automated and standardized development environments" is something I believed for a long time. Six years later we know better: With this move we become more suitable for Kubernetes development than ever. You can now run an entire Kubernetes cluster in your workspace - all because we forgo Kubernetes under the hood. It took a long time for us to accept that development environments are just very different things compared to production application workloads. Kubernetes isn't built to handle non-predictable workloads.

I've been spending this week polishing off parts of the @gitpod Flex dashboard and as part of that shipped my first animation ✨ The concept is by @juergenhassler and besides looking great solved a UX challenge of us not wanting the toggle to be clicking during transitions.

@raycastapp I'd love some kind of workflow editor that would allow me to chain commands from different extensions, e.g. 1. Create @linear issue 2. Create a @github branch using name from Linear 3. Create a @gitpod environment from branch
