As I said above, if it was predominantely website error, then the teams would be excused (not for the way admins are witch-hunted, but for the "mistake") But as far as my info goes, it was predominantly human error that led to this situation, especially for Kep. As for Tech, from what I gather + JCHammer video, it seems to me that it was the usual startgg visual glitch, that, in my experience, doesn't hinder a team to be registered with an event at all. Also it is easy to remedy that glitch by waiting a bit on the tourney page. Whilst unfortunate, I would still put that down on primarily human error to not immediately seeking to remedy the situation, with a little sprinkle of website interference.

It seems that, at least for Kep, that he joined a global startgg Team and not the one specific to the event. Which in turn means he didn't complete all the registration requirements for an RLCS Event. It was not a website glitch, it was the player not joining the correct team for the specific tournament in question.
