I served in IPOA for 6 years as Chair and only travelled thrice out of jurisdiction on official duty and even then the trips were funded by the inviting agencies. The affinity for unnecessary foreign trips by public officials drains our meagre resources and should stop!!!

Today the JSC began the recruitment process of Court of Appeal Judges. Out of the 35 shortlisted candidates, the Commission is seeking to hire 11 judges.
It is imperative that we get Judges with the highest level of competency and integrity.

Steve ,as JSC Commissioner no law bars me from appearing in courts yet I undertook not to conscious of the possible conflict or even perception of it.Why would Senators not see the obvious?Lip service to accountability?
THE SENATE has a special mandate to oversight counties. As a consequence, Sen. Murkomen and Mutula Kilonzo have no right to appear in court on behalf of Gov. Sonko, unless they want to create the crisis of reverse oversight. The conflict of interest is massive and irreconcilable.
