This is why people dislike “Animation Twitter” acting as if the most obvious thing and a key part of the plot of the movie is something that can be easily dismissed.
@techhalla
This isn’t a restoration this is just AI upscaling. Restoration would be going to the original negatives and making a new scan, then fixing some of the issues like dust, tears and fading.
I feel Animation Twitter has this tendency to infantilize its audience and extolling the stories in kids movies. The Paw Patrol movie is an example of that.

Maybe but the idea that a racist can’t have the Palestine flag is dumb because racist live in every place of the world. We are 8B humans and the idea you can classify everyone and asume X doesn’t exist is dumb. Contradiction is par of being a Human.
If you have to insist a meaning is there that isn't implicitly stated in the text, then it's not there and you're projecting. So that begs the question, Mr. Ant...
Why do you see this and think of black men?
@TheRocketRalph
@wetfoxing
Not really, it’s not a pronoun but conjugation.
If you mean Elle then yes that’s they/them but it can be used as “Elle es un maestro” and inclusive language is “Elle es une maestre” which is weird to heard and read.
@WilliamBibbiani
People saying “yeah but there are mermaids so anything can happen” yeah, why not make a mermaid who is half fish half truck, I mean there is fictional mermaids so why couldn’t it happen?
You may have seen the picture on the left relating the horrible Cinderella restoration done in the 2000s, well, I’m happy to say that this is now fixed in the new 4K restoration.
Disney did the right thing!
It is hilarious how much they want the aesthetics and to prove how this is stunning and brave without actually showing the real and ugly side of the 1940s.
This public display would have been the destruction of their careers and lives at this time.
Oh this blew up a bit, well I want to say I do not hate the person I’m QRTing I just wish things get a bit more serious.
Also if you want to follow me that’s cool, I talk about physical media, movies, art and my random thoughts.

Si bien si usaron fósforo blanco este video creo que es de otra cosa (bengalas quizá), el fósforo blanco es de color blanco (duh) y se ve diferente.
@EvanReadsComics
I don’t think “media literacy” has anything to do with it, they probably understand the context of the movie and the scene, they choose to ignore it.
@BradWelton
Lo dudo, la mayoría de personas que comparte esto tienen 20-30 años así que lo más probable es que a ellos les decían que Pokémon es del diablo.
Piensen!
This movie failing is not because of “we want original movies” crowd.
It’s because the general population doesn’t care about this + there are better movies releasing around that date + it doesn’t look that good + it has an cliché trope.
Pixar’s ‘ELEMENTAL’ is tracking to earn $28M-$38M at its domestic box office opening weekend.
In comparison, those numbers are worse than ‘LIGHTYEAR’ ($51M) and one of the lowest openings ever for a Pixar movie.

MFW a live-action ADAPTATION is not a 1:1 remake of the original movie and directors/scriptwriters can adapt new themes or change them as they please because it’s a creative medium.
@HMBohemond
It’s stupid to imply subtext doesn’t exist. Most songs have double meanings (that’s subtext), sarcasm is subtext, many children stories have subtext.
You all just lost your sense of whimsy & color. Maybe you're resentful because I still see the world with the eyes of a child, full of wonder and imagination.
I follow my truth wherever it leads.
If my honesty brings chaos, it doesn't make me wrong. It makes me a person.

I love your account, you give very insightful information and ideas of life, love and relationships with ourselves and the world around us. 🙌
This type of behavior is cringe. This, censoring Kanye’s name or not even typing it and leaving a blank space is cringe. Grow up.
Especially when you’re a number and statistics account. Pathetic behavior.

Oh yeah I don’t think people can’t argue with that, but I agree it should come naturally and if people in general oppose it then that’s also valid. I really doubt it will be popular in the next 10 years but who knows.
I think most people and normie will just ignore it.
@SadHillDevan
This looks awful, I had faith Lucas wasn’t going to tinker with it but I was wrong.
I ultimately try to buy the 4K releases even if they are crappy because at least they can give me the past Blu-ray and a digital copy.

People in the quotes and the comments really signaling that they prefer new transfers to cater their nostalgia and outdated masters filed with white balanced shots than accepting that maybe this is how they are supposed to look.
You don’t know more than the people who made it.
