There is no way you can look at the financial dealings of any large organization & determine inefficiencies, fraud, etc. in a couple of days. Can you agree that the auditors should be qualified, vetted & non-partisan?

@ShruggingEchoes @Rightanglenews It is absolutely true that they are operating outside checks and balances. The mere fact that all the IGs were fired is good evidence of that. That they have brought none of this supposed " waste & fraud" to Congress is also.

@ShruggingEchoes @Rightanglenews My stance is that Elon & his minions are unqualified to undertake an audit, that they are operating outside the checks & balances we have in place & that it is unethical & stupid to allow him to "audit" the agencies he has contracts with & that are investigating his companies.

@elonmusk I trust the government, which has a system of checks and balances far more than I trust Elon, who has none.

If he had actual evidence of fraud, he should lay it all out in public hearings before Congress. Nor does an audit of a large agency take mere days.

This is controversial because Elon is using unvetted employees, there is no oversight, he is undermining checks & balances, just to name a few problems. He has found no fraud, just payments/programs he doesn't like.
