@ndchiappini One of my students has taken to asking me how much certain things cost. Sometimes I just shake my and say you don't want to know.

May have been guilty of keeping some prelim results drawn on my office white board for months... Now that I've finally erased them so I can actually use the board again, it feels kind of like an awkward break-up.

@sasha_sundstrom Here are the two versions I have with their set numbers! They may not be as easy to find as they used to be.

Welcome to a new semester: where scheduling weekly meetings with two separate (small) student groups is both an obstacle course and impossible logic problem.

When you finally figure out some items the lab needs as the new semester starts, only to realize there's an ordering pause as the school's fiscal year rolls over. Impeccable timing as always.

Had an amazing time finally attending @EWOC8 #EWOC2024 in person!! Recent graduate Sandra represented the lab and shared her work one last time before she starts grad school at TAMU this fall.

@DrCJSobers I thought it was really inspiring! I need to reflect more on what seemingly 'simple' or 'small' actions I can deliberately take as a mentor that have the potential to be much more than they seem.

Good news to share from the Hinze lab. Our ACS PRF undergraduate new investigator grant is being funded! Excited to investigate some fundamental questions about migratory aptitude for both chemical and biocatalytic Baeyer-Villiger reactions.
