The time has come to announce my retirement from playing football. This was a tough decision to make, but I have had an amazing career and from when I started as a young kid in Penrith Cumbria, to where I got to today has been truly fantastic and have made some amazing memories. .

In one season for us Ben Pringle got 16 assists. In 150 appearances Newell has got 23. Kieran Agard got more goals in one season (26) than goalscoring winger Taylor has in 119 games and 3 years (13). It’s sad to see them go but they’re in no way irreplaceable, we move on #rufc.

People need to calm down a bit. Big losses, Smith more so but end of the day they’re 2 players in their 30s going for a last big payday. We’ve had their best years. Neither have been good enough 2 times now to keep us in this league. Trust the recruitment team and move on #rufc.
