We can confirm at approximately 6:30 p.m. there was an attempt to gain unauthorized access to the installation. The MCB Camp Pendleton Provost Marshall Office deployed the final denial barriers and disabled the vehicle. We will provide further information when available.

It was our honor to escort the remaining seven Marines & one Sailor from the 15th MEU today. They along with one other Marine died tragically during an AAV training mishap which took place on July 30, 2020.
Our thoughts & prayers go out to all who mourn those who were lost.
H&S Bn hosted a 242 mile run & cake cutting ceremony in celebration of the Marine Corps' 242nd birthday. Marines from each company took turns running two miles in teams until they reached 242. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl. Lukas Kalinauskas.)
An American bison herd roams the hills of Camp Pendleton. The San Diego Zoo gifted 14 bison to Camp Pendleton in 1973. As of today, there are approximately 90 bison aboard the base. We are proud to have one of only two wild herds of bison in the state of California.

Camp Pendleton officials hosted a dedication ceremony for rebuilt cottages at San Onofre Beach this week. The updated cottages are designed to be more accessible for wounded service members and others with disabilities.

, conduct a hike at Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 10, 2021. The Marines celebrated the Marine Corps’ 246th birthday by participating in a six-mile hike, commemorating their founding on November 10, 1775.
Camp Pendleton is home to many endangered species and unique training areas. The installation takes pride in protecting its 125,000 acres for current and future generations of Marines to train.
