MAME documents are essentially a book; thousands of pages long, that explain how every arcade game ever made works. It’s not just a thing you play.
This is exactly why I've never liked MAME. I understand a broad arcade emulator is an insane undertaking, but I don't even know why people bother messing with it. At least I eventually learned how Retroarch works and it was worth it, MAME seems like an unending battle

This is not a hybrid emulation device. Where it is advantageous this type of stuff will be explored and its benefits properly communicated, but we're not focused on making hybrid cores....at all. It is absolutely not the focus of this project.

I hope for the best but people owning already the mister will not buy this imho. The hybride emulation is cool but… it’s not what we want with a fgpa console.
If you want a high end fgpa console you buy Analogue. At least you have a « nice » shell and you can use your cartridge
