This thread will reveal the sad & shocking story of how Arsenal’s number 1 keeper Wojciech Szczęsny lost his future at the club & everything that led up to that moment. The story involves betrayal of trust & shows how stress can get to players.
I’ll be sharing the full story on Szczęsny’s exit at Arsenal, within the next week. Surprised it won the poll so comfortably. If you voted for the Frimpong vs Nasri story, I’ll hopefully get back to it in the future, along with other stories.

A lot of this has been reported by credible journalists already but there’s some stuff I’ve heard too. I’ll try piece everything together. It revolves around non-Negotiables & could explain why Arteta wants to ease in youngsters slowly.

There was a 4 year period where Arsenal were a mess. Alexis & Ozil last year of contract. Alexis falling out with all his team mates. The team were celebrating separately whenever Alexis scored . Koscielny was crying in team meetings . Guendouzi’s antics in the Dubai camp.

This thread will cover the TRUE story of what actually happened with Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs during the 2017 FA Cup Final. It’s a straight forward story so I’ll try to keep this short. Most people won’t know this so hopefully you find it insightful.
I actually have a mini inside story surrounding this FA Cup final about an Arsenal player. It’s quite short & straight forward but I can share it later today if people wanna know.

In 1999 Arsenal beat Sheffield United in the FA cup with a controversial goal so Arsène Wenger demanded a replay for the game to be played fairly. Can’t expect that claw for Spurs.
For #THFC v #LFC to be replayed. the request needs to come from @SpursOfficial. Would they do it? Doubt it. .

THOMAS LEMAR THREAD. This thread reveals the ins & outs of how Thomas Lemar’s move to Arsenal never materialised & how it ended in a £92M bid. Some parts are known, some aren’t so hopefully you find it insightful. It’s a simple story but I’ve thrown in a bonus story too 👀
As voted by you guys, my final thread of the year will be on the Thomas Lemar to Arsenal transfer saga. I’ll write it up later tbis week and will try to post it at some point next week.

Between 1997 & 2004 Arsenal won 3 titles & Man United won 4. When United won their 4 titles, Arsenal always came 2nd. In Man City’s 5 title wins, Liverpool only finished 2nd twice. Can’t be the best rivalry if it only happens every 2 years in the space of 6.

David Sullivan went on talkSPORT on the 8th of June to announce they are listening to offers for Declan Rice. In his mind, this would have sparked a bidding war. Arteta was one step ahead though; convincing Rice to join Arsenal, to the point where he turns down all clubs….
🚨 West Ham turn down 2nd Arsenal bid for Declan Rice. Worth up to £90m (£75m + £15m) as pursuit of 24yo #WHUFC captain continues.➕ #AFC talks with Chelsea for Kai Havertz ongoing - 24yo Germany int’l preference is to join Gunners from #CFC @TheAthleticFC.

One of the issues here is that Arsenal can’t offer him a professional contract until he turns 17 in November so it’ll have to be a short term scholarship. Bayern can offer a professional contract NOW because of different rules in the EU.
Exclusive: Bayern Munich are in advanced talks to sign Chido Obi-Martin, hoping to beat rivals Borussia Dortmund to the striker’s signature. The Danish talent rejected Arsenal’s most recent scholarship offer this week, and looks set to walk out of the club this summer.

@scrapytweets He was deceptively strong in his playing days despite his elegenace. But I guess now he’s just focusing on something to keep him driven.

The only reason Arsenal were top of the league at Christmas is because Saka was carrying our entire attack. 6 goals + 5 assists, ALL of them deciding the result of the game. Most goals & most assist for the team that’s top but not even nominated for POTY is ridiculous.
Eight outstanding nominees, but there can only be one winner. It's time to vote for your 2023/24 @EASPORTSFC Player of the Season 😍 . #PLAwards.

I honestly never cared about Man City before. I was so indifferent. But from minute 1 yesterday, they absolutely pissed me off. We’re not allowed to use dark arts but it’s fine that they used it for the last 8 years. We were time wasting in the second half but the ball was.

I’ve said this to a few people this week. Arsenal don’t like to waste time with players. If they know a player doesn’t want to join, they’ll walk away immediately. The fact that there’s a week left of the window & they’re still trying to sign him is a sign that the deal isn’t as.
🚨 JUST IN from @MiguelDelaney:. Arsenal weighing up a move for Nico Williams in last week of window. 🇪🇸. There is an awareness his preference is to stay in Spain. If they can't get him, they’ll likely drop down to a lower target. Arsenal only go big for specific names. 🎯
