Car jack. Attaches to the bumper and you use the tire iron as a handle to jack up the car. I had to use this a lot on my first few cars. Nowadays, you would never jack up a car by the front or rear bumper. They would rip right off!

Bread warmer, plate warmer... In a restaurant, we had a warmer drawer for baked potatoes. Also had one for baked rolls to keep them warm with humidity set where they stayed soft and didnt dry out

Yes. Usually only when I drive over 1,000 miles in a day. Especially driving across New Mexico, West Texas, or Kansas. Super long stretches of practically nothing.

I STILL eat this almost every night. Keeps my blood sugars from dropping too low during the night. The butter or margarine slows the absorption into the bloodstream.

Pretty much, but I didn't burn ants. I used my magnifying glass to set fire to wood shavings and paper like any good Cub Scout. No sentient anything was burned with my magnifying glass.. well maybe my brother and sister, but that's it! 🤣

I would back my grandchildren on almost anything they chose to do in life as long as it was legal, moral, and good for them. Going to college is something people who have no real talent need to do. All of my grandchildren have talent in spades. I don't want them indoctrinated!

I took one class and got up to about 80wpm writing and able to read back accurately. Helped a little that my mother was an expert. I was the only guy in the class. Had to pick an elective with little choice or time and figured mom could help me.

I must be missing something. Those don't look like what I know as burnt ends. Here in Kansas (and Missouri) burnt ends are actually very dark smoked pieces of brisket. Actually "burnt" tips of brisket. That pic looks like pieces of hotdogs!

For me, YES! Great quality ingredients. The meat actually tastes like beef, unlike most other burger places. Fries are fresh made and plentiful. And I always get my cheeseburger all the way with everything on it, so the price is okay for what I get. I love Five Guys!

Me. Loved driving a stick. My '83 Datsun 280-ZX Turbo was a stick and I even took it autocrossing at a Porsche Club sponsored event in Houston. Won my class that day and it was my very first time!

A team that could never go all the way. I lived in Houston for 23 years and hated the Oilers with a passion. Earl Campbell was/is a wonderful guy, but he couldn't carry that whole team on his back.
