4 weeks since the flood and still no emergency housing available within cooee, what's the good of housing grants for flood affected people if you cannot buy casual accommodation, no caravans or pods made available for rent for approx 6-8 weeks, and under the bridges occupied

In one day there were three SES warnings starting out at 7.2 mt expected minor flooding, the next two went up in 2-3 mt increments to well over 11 mt and today it was 14.4 and they suggested the water may go to 17 mt, this was over about 12 hours. There really was no warning,

In Psychiatric units nurses deal with threats and violence without shooting one person ever.... in fact police with guns deliver their clients to admission units everyday, not once does a nurse receive that client with a gun

You are privileged to be there, both my elderly parents died at the beginning of 2022 6 weeks apart, the flooding and covid prevented my seeing them and attending the funerals, it was devastating, I was their only daughter and a RN.

Surely, if the ADF were offering help to the NSW govt 2-3 days before the flood event in Northern NSW they must of had an idea of what may eventuate. The ADF dont generally respond to a predicted minor flood event in that manner. What information were the ADF responding to?
