Like removing maths, natural sciences or history, an ancient university without language degrees is no longer ancient or a university. Managers should own their role in budget positions & lead not by 'doing to' but working creatively *with* students-staff

@boucliersverts It is a brilliant article. A grownup view of the point. In October 2000 Scotland behaved accordingly with Donald Dewar. It’s not a case of liking or not liking a former leader. As former leaders, they once led the nation, a due respect is due in that capacity.
