That’s my first go around🥹 It was a touch & go, bounced and then we were back up! C17 was an added bonus!! It was 240 @ 16 so not bad at all, I think he caught a gust. Was smooth enough on final.

Today we said goodbye to another Virgin 747 from MAN. G-VLIP, previously Hot Lips now The Falcon, left this afternoon for the scrapman. A lot of history on this aircraft. It’s been a pleasure to see such an interesting livery!

today had I not left college after my first year to focus on my job & flying. Now, I’ve got my PPL and a great job saving money to take it further to ATPLs. You DO NOT need A-Levels or a degree to be a pilot. Don’t waste your time or money.

We cannot lose another UK airline. Especially one as important to regional airports as Flybe. They supply not only jobs in their immediate ring, but further afield, propping up those smaller airports. The UK wouldn’t have an airline with many domestic routes outside of LHR.
