@ThunderWolf08 Cape May says they get 40,000 visitors on summer weekends. You could easily make those numbers work for a seasonal service.

Looks like 2024 farebox was roughly $5 billion—a 10% increase on that would generate an extra $500 million in operating revenue.

@yfreemark It’s also interesting that their plan through 2030 is to build twice as much high-speed mileage as conventional speed.

@neipate96 Overall, tube lines are at about 95% of pre-COVID ridership, and the Central Line is at about 90% (very roughly 15 million missing trips)
