Congratulations to Mrs Mullaney who retired today from Lourdes Primary after 17 years as Class Teacher in our school. All the staff, pupils and parents wish her a happy retirement. She really liked her Best Teacher bear which had a face mask on of course.

Lourdes Primary is now a Hub School. Many thanks to the staff who are volunteering during this holiday period providing cover for parents who are front line workers. Children from 5 local schools are attending our school for 2 weeks. We are more than happy to be of help.

On Mrs. Simpsons’s last day we gathered in prayer to celebrate our own school Feast day. The children showed their appreciation of everything Mrs. Simpson has given to our school through sharing their talents in song, poetry and dance.
Staff at Lourdes Primary have responded to an appeal from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for 50 sets of knitted hearts for their Covid Patients. The hospital team want to give a heart to be with the patient and the other for the family. We are so proud of you. ❤

Since Monday the Management Team have been phoning as many families as possible each day. It has been lovely hearing about all the work being completed using our Learning Packs. We are so proud of you all.
