Earlier this week, your Zoo welcomed Louisville Fire’s Special Rescue Team divers! The team suited up to look at our seal and sea lion pool and help provide us with more information about a leak due to temperature changes. It also gave the firefighters an opportunity for additional training! The good news: the leak is not affecting our seals and sea lions, and they continue to dart around the pool as usual (when the firefighters aren’t in there!) We hope you’ll pardon our mess as we get these cosmetic leaks repaired. A big thank you to the men and women of @loukyfire for all you do to keep our community safe. As a token of our appreciation, we invited the firefighters to join our seal and sea lion training — we’re sure our flippered friends are thankful for their help as well! 📸Kyle Shepherd
