An open convention is by far the worst idea out of anything on the table. The people voted for a ticket with Harris on it, knowing that she might have to step in at some point. That’s not the same as handing someone the nomination in a back room.
If you are a Kamala supporter, the last thing you want is for her to be handed the nomination in a back room. To have any hope, she has to win it at an open convention.
