This just screams “unconscious bias”. These founders that you’ve spoken to should just assess candidates in general based on the attributes and qualifications they are hiring for. Don’t make assumptions based on their past experiences whether FAANG or non-FAANG.

Just thinking of the generator noise, heat and mosquitoes back in Naij. Fuel is scarce, you can’t even on gen like that. Cover yourself to avoid mosquito bites but heat will kill you. Don’t even mention insecticides cause Lagos mosquitoes are on a different level.

Brethren, that's how I mistook mosquito repellent for toothpaste. It looked just like Oral B so I squeezed onto my toothbrush. Didn't realize until it was too late😭.
I can confidently say that mosquitoes can't come near my mouth now.
