Glad we were able to give our one Senior a good senior night game. Brandon has sacrificed so much for the DCC Men’s Soccer program this year. Being the only true upperclassman in a team with 5 sophomores and 17 freshmen is tough but he never complained and was always a leader.

Even though the weather is not ideal BOTH teams will have each player individually completing over 10 miles of running, core workouts every day, and over 18,000 touches on the ball all by Friday. Self-motivation and training are huge.

Fitness/Understanding the demand on their body will be more intense than they are used to and we would rather not spend the first few weeks getting their lungs adjusted if they take care of it before coming.

06’s W 7-2 very dominant win with good play.
07’s L 4-1 some mistakes but Not too bad only having 12 with 4 08’s and 1 09 all playing up
06’s W 3-2 dominating game just had 2 mistakes and lots of missed chances.

Finally have some game pictures with the 07’s. Beyond proud with the way this team plays and listens. Having four 08’s, one 09, then the rest being 07’s took some time for them to all start connecting but now it’s definitely a joy to watch them play and compete together.

This time last year I had 8 boys for my 09’ Boys Club team..now I have 17 on roster for my 08 Boys team which is 50/50 09 & 08 and I have 16 on my 06 Boys team which is almost a split 60/40 06/07..I couldn’t be happier to see what this year of coaching club brings⚽️👌
