Such a special season ahead of us. 150 years of the Daffs. We will be having a big celebration of this at the end of the season (details will be released when confirmed) special merchandise will be available soon too as well as the release of season tickets
#daffs150
Breaking news... The Daffs stay up. The main aim of this season was to finish outside the relegation zone and then look to build. With today's results we are officially safe with 3 games to spare which marks the object as achieved.
Football without fans is nothing. Whether it's just 50 or 50,000. The people who pay at the gate, sponsor games, buy food and socialise after are the lifeblood of many clubs.
Champions!!! Although we would love to have won it by finishing the season we are over the moon at once again winning the mid wales league. We only lost 1 game in 23 played we feel we are worthy champions.
It is with great sadness we learn of the passing of Brian Jones (Jim the Moss). Brian was a great clubman, committee member, ex President and player. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to all his family.
#LEGEND
Big, big, breaking news. We are very happy to announce
@Boundy88
has agreed to sign for us for the forthcoming season after leaving Aber yesterday. The son of a Llani legend and so much talent we are over the moon with this.
Great news for the town. It will consign the red gra "all weather" pitch to folklore and kids will never know the suffering of the generations that went before them

Work to install a new 3G pitch at a north Powys sports centre will start next month, Powys County Council and Freedom Leisure have announced.

#CARDIFFHALF
First of all to add competition for the number 1 Jersey we have moved quickly and following his release from Caersws
@lukeevans10
has agreed to sign on with the Daffs. A great goalkeeper who will relish the challenge to become number 1.
Big news, after a meeting to sort things out we have decided we will be opening every saturday from the 18th of July for the foreseeable and utilising the biggest beer garden in the town. We will be marking out the pitch to help with social distancing
We are devastated to hear the news of the passing of Mr Dai Phillips. A giant of a personality in the town having taught in the local high school for decades. Dai is also a big part of the history of the Daffs, part of the veterans set up and a dear friend to everyone
Fantastic news as our search for an assistant manager is over. We are pleased to announce the very experienced B licence (soon to be A licence) Andy Evans has agreed to come on board and assist

We are over the moon to announce the signing of
@JackBiggs111
from
@HayStMarysFC
Jack was top scorer in div 2 last season with 34 goals from Midfield, and due to this had a host of clubs after him. It is an exciting signing and we welcome Jack straight into Saturdays squad.
We are pleased to announce we were successful in our appeal and have been granted our tier 2 licence. Big thanks goes to the great volunteers who worked very hard to ensure we will be plying our trade in tier 2 this season.
#Upthedaffs
The friendly situation perhaps needs looking at. Can only play teams in our league so theoretically can travel to Anglesey for a game but not 10 minutes down the road.
Just wasn't to be today.
@ColwynBayFC
brought a massive crowd and threw everything at us second half and shown why they are title favourites. Great atmosphere and quality game of football, all the best to the bay and safe trip home to you all.
After the count up of money taken for the palliative care unit in Llanidloes we raised on the gate and Raffle £770. We will top this up to £1000. Thank you to everyone that contributed from both our club and
@caersws
We're obviously disappointed having led the way for a long time but in reflection we have come along way under Hughie and what a bunch of lads we have. Togetherness and team spirit along with the greatest support in Mid Wales Givesa our town a club to be proud of.
Over the weekend we learned of the deeply sad news of the passing of ex manager Clive McNamee. We send our sincere condolences to Caz, Molly and George and the rest of the family. Mid Wales football has lost a legend. Rest in Peace Mac.
Holywell Town’s match last night against Llanidloes Town was abandoned early in the second half due to a medical emergency in the stands, where sadly, one of our loyal supporters passed away.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to all the family and friends at this sad time 💔
Massive congratulations to
@ColwynBayFC
on securing the title. Great club and set up and will be a superb addition to the top tier. Will miss coming there next season but all the best to everyone associated with the Bay.
#seagulls
Everyone at the club is overjoyed with our reserves becoming Champions. We pride ourselves on being one club and it's just reward for the lads to win the league Infront of such a huge crowd tonight. The committee are extremely proud of everyone of the reserve lads.
#upthedaffs
Today we have had the sad news of the passing of Betty Pugh. Betty was the wife of former club president Sam Pugh who served the club for over 40 years and Betty supported him throughout. Rest in Peace Betty, you're back with Sam now.

Everyone who knows this little star is rooting for him. Best wishes and love and cant wait to see him giving a bit of cheek to us all down the club soon.
Here he is the main man. Just back from Manchester where he has been having his mask made, and fitted ready for his new treatment in the next few weeks.
After going through 3× Brain ops to remove tumour, hopefully the Proton Beam Therapy will zap it away for good. 💪🙏
#Kieran

full details to be revealed in the New Year
It is with sorrow we announce
@JackBiggs111
will be leaving the club. A vital player in the championship season of 2019-20. A smashing lad and great player who will be an asset to his next club. We part on great terms and Biggsy will always be welcome at the avenue.
#champion
Although Wales are a few weeks behind England in relation to the easing of lockdown, we have plans in place for a nice big socially distanced party on our fully licenced back and main pitches. Once we are given the go ahead to serve in beer gardens the club will be ready.
And that's a wrap for tier 2 at the KVM. Just have to praise the lads who stepped up from the reserves today having played 90 last night, great shift by them all and a testament to our reserve team and club ethos.
It's with a heavy heart we announce that one of our greatest left backs, and fan favourite
@JoshuaEvans1992
is departing our squad for
@FCBerriew
Josh has recovered from a terrible knee injury and needs to be playing week in week out
We say goodbye to Goalkeeper
@Jack_Perry97
who leaves in search of more regular game time. Pez has earned the respect of everyone in Llani for being a superb back up keeper who also never let us down when called upon. All the best Pez lad
Had lots of nominations to post a picture and on this day there is only one type of picture everyone involved with football should be sharing. Football is for enjoyment and entertainment and nobody should go to a game and not return home.
#JFT96
Today we said farewell to a fan favourite, very decent player and all around good guy
@DafCarruthers
who is leaving the Daffs. We wish him all the best where ever he goes. Good luck Daf.

💛💚
Over night the Welsh Government has decided that spectators watching sporting events in the wide open outdoor space will be banned to help stop the spread of the new variant. Think we can still have people indoors in the club having a pint though
He's our first team physio, coach, line marker, carnival chef, committee member, supporter of the bar and all round nice guy. He is older than Jesus Christ and today is his birthday. Have a great day
@llanicrisp
We've said goodbye to our friend and club legend Bryan. We will be having a minutes silence for him before our first home pre season game next Friday in the charity game.
Our thoughts and condolences go to the family of Bernie Jones. A true legend of Mid Wales football. He always had time for everyone who needed advice or support. A humourous character who put grassroots football in the area at the top of his prioties.
With a total of 14 first team and fringe players out through injury or covid, this point is a massive point. To a man our lads were amazing, chances to win it but after the last couple of days a point having been 2 down is massive.
Big respect for Daffs forward/midfielder/right back
@GreggBrown09
after he broke 3 ribs in a collision and played on for 20 minutes until full time. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Here is more good news. Our 2nd signing of January after a brief stint away is
@Boundy88
who brings in a wealth of cymru premier and JD cymru north experience. The Daff fans will be overjoyed with this.
#welcomebackBoundy
Big congratulations to reserve player and club stalwart

@LanceJones66
we will finally see him week in week out as a Daff.
FAW Tier 2 Certification decisions have been made today by an independent First Instance Body for clubs wishing to participate in
#JDCymruNorth
and
#JDCymruSouth
.
Big congratulations to committee member and player
@nickpidge
And his wife
@LeDavie91
On the birth of their 2nd child. A bouncing boy named Declan.
#futuredaff
Today we say goodbye to a friend and teammate who I started my rugby journey with 34 years ago. A great player and even greater person. Rest in Peace Tudor. ❤️
Obviously it is not what we wanted but we say a fond farewell to
@JamieBreese9
who leaves to help fire
@HolywellTownFC
to the league. We wish him all the best and will always extend a warm welcome to him as a club legend of recent times. All the best Breesey.
Second player released by Sws and agreeing to join the champions in tier 2 is
@ElliotJones10
who is a highly skillful versatile player who brings in experience from his time at tier 2. Elliot had a brief spell with the daffs a few years ago and will be good to have him back.
