🧵On October 22nd of 2017, I finished my last bartending shift and began my first day as Premier Horgan's EA the very next morning. For the next 4 years I spent nearly every day with John. He loved telling the unlikely story of how I was hired, so I'm going to tell it.

Wanted to ask about the disrespect of the v early morning PM call but brain was sleepy so as @HorganPS was ushering Horgan away I ended up spitting out “wasn’t that a little dickish?!” Rather than horrified, Horgan thought it funny & would often repeat it to me in the halls 3/3
