New slogans dropping soon! Looking forward to Poilievre repeating them incessantly as if he’s been cursed by the ghost of Billy Mays.
‘Canada First rally’ expected to be major rebranding of Conservative campaign, say senior Tories, @abbas_rana1 reports. Find out more at

@Anthony__Koch What concessions do you think Canada could make? The border issue obviously isn't legitimate.

Notice anything missing from this plan? Not a single measure that fights back against the United States’ unjustified tariffs.
John Rustad and the Conservative caucus just released our 10-point plan to address the tariffs. The BC NDPs plan to ban Kentucky bourbon isn't going to do anything for BC. British Columbians need a serious plan. So here it is: 1. Immediately negotiate a Canada Wide Free Trade Agreement. Interprovincial barriers are the equivalent of between a 21 and 25% tariff. Open flow of all goods and commodities, including energy, will help to offset our dependency on the USA. 2. Immediately call back the legislature to implement a Fiscal Emergency Bill. a) Bill should ask for additional fiscal room to implement port and border security measures. b) Bill should identify additional funding to reopen BC’s trade offices foreign countries. c) Bill should suspend all but the essential requirements in the Environment Assessment Act. d)Bill should suspend all but the essential requirements for development permits. e) Bill should implement a quick 3 month review to eliminate as much government wasteful spending as possible to get our fiscal house in order. 3. Work with LNG Canada to immediately advance phase 2 of their Kitimat LNG project. This would inject billions in additional construction activity into BC’s economy. 4. Immediately provide a 10 year extension to the permitting of existing natural gas pipeline projects. 5. Immediately eliminate the Carbon Tax to reduce costs for consumers and businesses. 6. Immediately eliminate the requirement for LNG projects to use electricity for compression. 7. Immediately eliminate the CO2 emissions caps/targets to unleash investments in BC. 8. Work with the Mining Sector to approve and advance the approximate 17 mining projects in BC that are ready to go. This would inject about $36 billion in economic activity during construction, create 10s of thousands of jobs and significantly increase BC’s GDP and revenue. 9. Immediately strike a task force to provide targeted cost reductions for BC’s forest sector. 10. Stop work towards a power line from the Northeast to the Northwest and replace the project with natural gas fired electricity generation directly in the Northwest. This is our plan to #FightForBC.

Crazy that the BC Conservatives are continuing to carry water for a foreign power that’s threatening our sovereignty.
David Eby and the BC NDP are playing a reckless game with our economy. Now they’re threatening tariffs on U.S. "red states" in a desperate stunt to look tough. Even the Governor of Texas is warning Trudeau to be careful—yet Eby is charging ahead with the same reckless attitude. This isn’t leadership. It’s economic sabotage. Instead of fixing the mess they’ve made here at home, Eby and Trudeau are bluffing like tough guys when they have nothing, putting BC jobs and businesses at risk. British Columbians deserve better than an NDP government willing to gamble with their livelihoods for political points. Enough of this nonsense. #bcpoli #cdnpoli

👍 ok man
President Trump specifically cites British Columbia in his executive order to impose tariffs on our country. These are the consequences of weak and radical NDP leadership that gave the Americans an argument against us. The free drug culture promoted by the NDP has destroyed our reputation and killed countless people. Eby and the NDPs response to tariffs is to ban liquor from red states. Incredibly weak. John Rustad and the Conservatives plan to release a comprehensive 10 point plan to save our economy, put money into people’s pockets and address this southern threat.

@ryanlpainter Where did this Ryan Painter go?
If America invaded Canada, I would enlist and fight. If this isn't your answer, well, you're a lost cause.

I think hyper-partisanship is what turns most people off of politics. Being magnanimous is admirable. You’ll never hear someone say of a great athlete “they weren’t unsportsmanlike enough”
Too many former Conservative electeds decide to make it their personal mission to compliment Liberals at every available opportunity in their post political career. Contrary to what many think, Conservatives, far from being “too partisan”, are in fact not partisan enough.
