I pulled my knife out and used it at work every single day for the past 6 years with one hand? Sometimes on a ladder. Sometimes under something with no room. If a dog is going to attack you sacrifice your weak arm and retrieve your knife with your dominant arm. Btw the clip on the back of the knife holds it at the top of your pocket.
