Today we commemorate the 1517 souls who never returned when RMS Titanic sank on her maiden voyage. We honour their hopes, dreams and aspirations. The ship hit an iceberg at 23:40 (Ship's Time) on 14 April 1912, and sank two hours and forty minutes later on 15 April.
