Stood at the match today. Bizarrely I felt no urge to sneak alcohol in. I didn’t even feel compelled to sing anything racist or chant hatred. No drugs either. Even felt safe as a woman stood with a female friend.
It’s a miracle given the risks I faced because of rail seating🙄

Marched miles out of the way in Milan. Kettled by storm troopers in Lisbon, both before & after the game. Deemed category 1 for risk in Villareal. Kettled, crushed & gassed in Paris. And every time no justifiable reason.

It formed part of many initiatives & protests around general price increases.

If that’s the case, then it proves that those who create the noise & colour pre kick off, are pretty important.

Grim seeing so many miss out on tickets. This now needs action. We all complain once we get to a final, but it’s too late.
We need to work with other supporter groups to demand that the qualifying teams’ supporters get a bigger share of the allocation.

Then as we waited patiently, they tear-gassed us. No stewards. No announcements. Nothing.

Great to see the price for our League Cup away fixture at Arsenal set at £10.
Arsenal used to charge us £65 a ticket. We drew them in the FA Cup in 2014 and due to the size of the allocation there was a risk we’d be charged £90+ for the upper tier.

It was an amazing trip & it wasn’t just because we won. Madrid welcomed us with open arms. The city was decorated for the final, there was a buzz from the moment we arrived. Same for Kyiv. We loved it despite the loss.

Remember when City got 100 points, we chased them all the way. I’m not taking away from that achievement as it’s still phenomenal, but there’s no pressure on the reds for those points. No Adrenalin of absolutely needing to win & most importantly we’re not there to cheer them on
