9 years since supporters talking about ticket prices (and a walkout) was the news of the day. And later that day, LFC changed their mind on planned rises/£77 tickets. All these years later, ticket prices are still news. Some things never change! (bar the hairline)
Four days on and tickets are still top of the agenda. What's the point they said? @JayMcKenna87 on BBC One now.

Some 17 years that! I don’t reckon any of us in the room that night, had any imagination about what the Union would achieve since then To the next 17 ✊
Happy Birthday to us - on 31 Jan 2008 we held a meeting at the Sandon - the meeting was about the very existence of #LFC due to debt put on the club by Hicks & Gillett - we’re now the official Liverpool Supporters Trust - join here to have your voice heard

Incredibly interesting how all these football clubs, apparently without any conversation or consideration of each other, are copying policies such as these on concessions, or ticket usage Mad that, isn’t it…
Brighton increase season ticket prices by 5% for 2025/26, increase senior concession discounts from 65 to 66 years of age (from 2026/27) and plan to reduce the discount for seniors to 25% by 2027/28 and 20% by 2029/30. STH who miss more than 5 matches on 2025/26 (and do not list their tickets on the exchange) will not be able to auto renew their ST in 2026/27

The replies are something else to this. Even when it was bad - like ‘Hicks and Gillett no money for players because it’s gone on debt interest’ or ‘Roy Hodgson in charge’ bad - SOS did not get involved in transfers or player contracts. Why would that change now?
Representatives of 🆘, @SpionKop1906, @LFCWSC, @culturedlfc and the OLSC network have written to @LFC ahead of discussions around ticket pricing. #LFC #StopExploitingLoyalty
