Piper, my Envigo beagle, lived in a filthy overcrowded cage for 1 1/2 years to be sold into animal testing. Thankfully, the place was shut down and her and 3,999 fellow beagles were also saved. She is now free!

Sitting in the closet with my dog. I hope all of you shooting off the loud bomb like firecrackers are enjoying yourselves for the 4th day in a row. My dog is not. She won’t let me hold her and I can’t wrap her in a towel as she’s too hot from panting.

Please pray/ send positive vibes whatever you do, for Piper. She is in vet hospital impacted with grass in her stomach maybe fabric(she doesn’t usually eat stuff like that though) They are trying to get her to vomit. May need surgery. I’m sick with worry.

Had to say goodbye to my sweet Sadie who I had for 13 1/2 years. I rescued her when she was 1. She was the sweetest girl and always could feel when I was sad or anxious and would sit close to me and never leave my side. I’ll miss her forever. I feel broken 💔

I adopted this old lady from the shelter before Christmas and she’s not been eating great at all this week. Vet said it could be her kidneys and low protein diet could help but, she’ll barely touch anything. She’s the sweetest girl.

Ruby finally ate really well! I picked up some Fresh Pet with a little bit of Greek yogurt and she licked the bowl clean! We will see how she does these next few days but, hopefully, it continues. Thank-you everyone for your advice and kind words. ❤️

This makes my ❤️ so happy. These guys have always been best friends. They haven’t played in 5 months. Tillie, the big one, has Masticatory Muscle Myositis. Horrible disease treated with very high dose steroids to try to put in remission. She’s been 1/2

Adopted this senior beagle from our shelter. She was there a month. I couldn’t let her stay there a day longer. The first few days were a little stressful as she’s never lived indoors and I don’t think ever given affection. She’s doing better. We love her.

This is Ruby doing her favorite thing. As many of you know. I had to put her to sleep yesterday. 💔 My daughter is a nurse and works in a hospital. Her first patient this morning was named Ruby ❤️ I feel like it’s a sign she’s ok.

Now that fireworks are legal around here everyone is setting them off and my poor dog is absolutely terrified. It sounds like a war zone, I don’t ever remember ones this loud. Before, everyone offers me suggestions I’ve tried everything as far as I know. 😞

Picked up my cat’s remains today. We’ve never received a paw print before. I broke down again when I saw this. She was a wonderful cat. We took her in as a stray 20 yrs ago. It’s like a part of our life is forever gone. My kids were 5 and 8 when she arrived.

She didn’t vomit but, she’s home after 1 night in the hospital hoping things pass naturally or she may have to go back. She seems fine and her stomach isn’t distended or hard anymore. I really don’t think she ate anything but, grass and maybe dirt. 🙏🏼🤞🏼

My in laws are coming over today. They are the sweetest people aged 90 and 91. From Florida and avid Fox News viewers. They’ve been in town for a week and politics hasn’t come up once. I have a feeling my husband told them not to discuss politics with me. 😂😂

My beagle brought a live large bird in the house once and when I tried to take it from her she scarfed it down…swallowed it whole. 😳 I couldn’t believe it but, she didn’t have any issues. Keep an eye out for more vomiting but, hopefully, he poops it out!

I’m so sorry for your loss. 💔 This hurts my heart so much. I stopped walking my dogs because of the loose dogs around. I’m lucky that we have an acre of land and my husband built a 6foot privacy fence around 1/2 so they have their own little dog park now.
