@sean_sdeego92 @14HenriettaSt @BallyboughDub @NEIC_Dublin I did an interview an elderly man who remembered Brendan Behan in a fight in Paddy Claire’s pub on Foley Street. He recalled, “Brendan would cause trouble in a confession box, he said to a man looking over at a woman, she has a face like a pan of fried maggots.” It was his wife.

@tracyohanlon74 @SuzieD755164 @rtenews @marie_sherlock How can you be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When you’re in your own home when somebody comes to your home and tries to murder you. It doesn’t make sense what she said.

It would be a great tourist attraction if we had our museum open. We run the very successful Monto Walking Tour; we take visitors around what was Joyce’s “Nighttown.” We tell many stories on the tour of Monto’s infamous madams, pimps, and women trapped in a life of prostitution.

“Remembering Monto.” A great article by author & historian Donal Fallon in today's, Friday’s Irish Independent newspaper. Monto was Dublin’s infamous red-light district. 1970s I recorded many of the former residents of Monto. Walking tours starting back at the end February.

@fallon_donal Nice photos Donal, it’s a while since I met your mother and father. I’m off the drink 2 years. It’s time to go back and have a pint. Roll on “Paddy’s Day.”

@Darryl71367124 Unfortunately their 1916 medals and other stuff were sold to a collector. Theresa Brady has all the history connected to both of them.
