There are people ridiculing New Zealand for it's lock down over 1 case. Firstly, in four days that has become 51 cases. Secondly, we lock down so that people don't die. In the whole pandemic, we've had 26 deaths in NZ.

40 years ago I was a fat kid.
40 years ago autistic children were still institutionalised with dangerous adults.
I was in school 30 years ago. I can 100% guarantee autism existed even if we weren't yet diagnosed.

A couple of regular kiddos on the bus I caught home today, both super keen for me to sit near them. We had a lovely chat, they're on their way O/S to visit relatives. As they got off the bus Mum stopped and said to me "We are so lucky to have you at the library."

All my life, cis men and women have told me I'm not "feminine enough". That I'm too fat, too hairy, too dark, don't look like a "normal" woman. What they mean is that I'm not white enough, because the ideal is a thin, fair, hairless white woman.
You know what, trans folk have never made me feel weird about my gender. They have always taken me as I am and so it’s been pretty easy to do the same.
I’ve only been told I’m doing womanhood wrong by cis folk.
We are all more than dress codes and our reproductive abilities.
