Put it this way - if Ricciardo had scored twice as many points as Tsunoda, he'd be in the Red Bull right now. Tsunoda did score twice as many points as Ricciardo, yet his new teammate is already being linked with the seat and he isn't. He is graded differently to his teammates.

If Yuki lost to De Vries, Ricciardo or Lawson he'd be out of the sport. Beating them all means he's #1 in line right? No, he's still at threat of being out of the sport for 2026 whilst an 11 race rookie is being promoted. One of the most illogical decisions I've ever seen.
Liam Lawson is the primary candidate to step up to Red Bull in case Sergio Perez is dropped for 2025. But Yuki Tsunoda arguably deserves that seat more than anyone else. Opinion ✍️. #F1.

@MegaVSPrimus @ESPNF1 Because he had a World Champion level teammate, another teammate who was very, very capable and a Vettel in a Ferrari that won a lot of races before Ferrari decided to do their trademark shit. It was more competitive than people give him credit for.

Yuki was kicking Ricciardo to retirement yet he and Lawson were still linked with the Red Bull seat before him. Yuki could have won on Sunday and Horner would still credit Lawson more.
🚨 | Red Bull still see Liam Lawson as a preferred option over Yuki Tsunoda for a 2025 seat. Details below:.

It's actually mad how much Masi fucked 21. Ruined an all timer season. Ruined a historic 4-win comeback. Ruined a record breaking season. Ruined confidence in the sport. Ruined Bottas' Merc exit too.

When are the media going to start doing their job and ask why Tsunoda is being ignored? We all know it's political, call them out. Because we all know if Daniel had scored double Yuki's points as teammates, he'd be in the Red Bull, but that doesn't apply to Yuki.
Liam Lawson takes over from Daniel Ricciardo. The thinking is it'll give Red Bull a chance to evaluate him against Tsunoda. Do a good job and he'll be in strong shape to be promoted to the works team #F1.

Said it before, westerners have a stereotype about Japanese people that Yuki doesn't fit into. They don't expect him to swear, even though he learned English around native speakers in paddocks. Magnussen told Albon to fuck off this weekend, but he's Danish and tall I guess.
this article is very indicative of this interesting phenomenon where liam’s recent hotheadedness has been praised as red bull mentality, despite similar behaviour from yuki having been touted as THE reason he won’t get promoted for years now. wonder what the difference is….

@smbtouchmyspag @f1shaderoom Ah yes, the 2021 season where only Red Bull had accidents. Whilst no other cars had accidents all season long. How did all the other teams make it under despite crashes?.

Genuinely insane this negative PR tour. Trying to claim Yuki was inconsistent this year is literally debunked by the statistics lol.

@arlindosajr @MegaVSPrimus @ESPNF1 And why wasn't he as dominant? Because he had competition lmao. It's funny how when Michael or Seb are dominant, they're dominant, but when Lewis does the same thing, it's because Lewis isn't as good, or it's entirely the car. Odd.

They've been teammates for 24 races. Tsunoda has scored 37 points in 13 points finishes. Ricciardo has 18 points in 5 points finishes. You're actually that desperate that you're including DNFs in your head to head (a H2H which is incorrect to begin with).
Ricciardo has beaten Tsunoda 8 of the last 9 races. Literally nothing else he could do to keep his seat.

@AS19_YT @tuomashhr All you've done here is compare the top of FE to the bottom of F1. Compare to the top of FE to F1 if you don't think there's an inferiority.

Same old shit. Biggest point seems to be that Tsunoda's technical feedback wasn't as good as Ricciardo's, a driver with 14 years of experience and the 10th most experienced driver in the history of the sport lol.
Given how well he's performed against Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo and Liam Lawson, why isn't Yuki Tsunoda the favourite to replace Sergio Perez? . @SMitchellF1 explains why:

I'm not joking, but the media's disrespect towards Tsunoda at times is so blatant. I get it, Horner ignores he exists, he's not a PR guy, he doesn't have a decade of experience, but can we stop pretending he doesn't deserve to at least be mentioned FFS.
With Albon staying at Williams, Red Bull's options for Max Verstappen's 2025 #F1 team-mate seem to have narrowed to a choice of three 👀 . 🔵 Sergio Perez.🔴 Carlos Sainz.🔵 Daniel Ricciardo. Who would you be offering your money to? 🤔

It's quite jarring how the most scathing criticism of F1 from journalists are from those outside the sport, not scared to piss off RB and lose their privileges. It's good, but shows you how biased the in-house journalism is.
Christian Horner is tarnishing F1. Red Bull broke the rules but Horner says criticism is affecting the mental health of the team. This is a blatant deflection technique but also trivialises the difficulties of people with real mental health problems .

Lewis' opinion on Checo the racer and Checo the person don't have to overlap. Have you been doing these deep dive analytics into Marko's xenophobia, Adit? Or do you only care because it's Lewis?.
Lewis suddenly rates Checo and is supportive of him now? . Let's go back to Mexican GP 2021 where after finishing P2 in front of Checo, he said- "You know their car is fast when Sergio is close to you and pushing you like that" ( what a nice thing to say at checo's home race 🙂)

F1 media have characterised Yuki like this for years now. Which is fine if it's balanced with the opposite. But it isn't, they never speak about when he does well, but they'll speak every time he says something on the radio. They're literally creating a character.
am I the only one who is not a fan of the official f1 account calling it “classic yuki” when alphatauri once again is failing him

This narrative that no team wanted Tsunoda is so weird to anyone with a functioning brain who can and has been reading properly. It's a complete lie lol.
Jacques Villeneuve says it's "clear that this is Yuki's last season with the Red Bull family anyway. And I don't see any team wanting him unless there's a big Honda push.” 👀

@vojce_doktor @arlindosajr @MegaVSPrimus @ESPNF1 Max hasn't dominated a season in a slower car so your point is absolutely irrelevant. Leclerc is a good qualifier, but the Ferrari has been quick on 1 lap pace in 19, 21 and 22. Qualifying means nothing compared to racing.

@Pleyndamour @HLTCO Owen scored 13 PL penalties, Kane has scored 21. Not really a grand difference when we're talking about a combined total of nearly 300 goals.

The most beautifully hilarious level of petty I've seen. Enjoy the Ford engines, you slags.
Watanabe, HRC CEO, showed no hesitation in cropping Horny out of the img he used for a farewell mssg to Checo. This was the right decision. Incidentally, before becoming HRC CEO, he was responsible for both brand communication and motorsport at Honda. He is a PR professional. #F1

@warriorschoke @CYMotorsport This doesn't even add up though. The GP2 tyres were slicks, not grooved like the 07 tyres. Ferrari had been with Bridgestone for years and years, so any advantage Lewis had is pretty irrelevant as well as the main competition had an even bigger one.

To this day, the FIA have not publicly apologized to Lewis or Mercedes. They haven't even vaguely apologised to the tune of a "we apologize to anybody who was affected by this human error.".
Speaking of AD Robbery&Mental Health ,Did Anybody Ever Care about the Mental Health of The Person who's Title Was Stolen?.

I know someone is digging deep when they start using Q1 times and comparing them to Q2 lmao. If Lawson was as quick as this sole Q1 time, why has he been beaten 9-1 in qualifying?. Perhaps your 'context' is putting all your faith in an exception rather than the rule.

@KateSwi20927647 @fiagirly The FIA's own mandate says they have certain protocols for incidents above a certain g force. They did not adhere to those protocols here. That's the problem. The fact Lewis was fine is irrelevant. This sport is supposed to be proactive regarding safety, not reactive.

@_Dan_Castell They can count?. If they know how much it costs to make a competitive car and that takes them close to the cost cap. It's not hard to assume that RB who kept bringing even further upgrades were spending more. RB don't suddenly have massively cheaper manufacturing costs.

People are calling him a liar but forget that Daniel had scored points in just 1 GP at this point whilst Tsunoda had scored in 9 as teammates. He deserved to be binned. I actually believe Horner, because Horner would bin anyone else getting leashed that badly.
Speaking to #F1 Nation, Christian Horner has revealed Daniel Ricciardo could have already lost his RB seat after the #SpanishGP. “I've done my very best to buy him as much time in the car to allow him to deliver. So otherwise he would have been out of the car after Barcelona.”
