According to sources, a lot of Bill Belichick’s motivation in coming to Carolina revolves around honoring his father’s legacy (UNC assistant ‘53-‘55) and views Carolina in high regard because of him. In his initial interview, he said his first words growing up were “Duke Sucks.”

@theblanketdog absolutely not the best person to be our football coach…but it does make me sad bc he loves WV and makes it clear…WV is a hard sell unless you’ve been there and seen how special it is, and he embraced being part of it, not just a stepping stone but the football is god awful
