NWC cannot be allowed to hold customers at ransom for their operational inefficiencies by halting water supplies as a cost cutting measure. Rationing of water under drought conditions is tolerated. Turning off water to “combat high costs” is unacceptable.

NO to importing chicken!!! Subsidize the cost of inputs. These are what affects the production costs. You will ruin every rural chicken farmer if you allow the importation of chicken. FYI, there is NO shortage of chicken meat in Jamaica today!

A parrotfish that is 2 feet long can produce 900lbs of sand per year. Climate Change is causing faster coastal erosion. We will continue to eat parrotfish until we have to swim to get to Portmore or the airport.

If fuel prices were this high and there were less allegations of corruption among politically appointed persons, one may be inclined to allow some latitude. The taxes account for over 40% of the cost of fuel, remove the taxes, start with the hedge tax, as there is no hedge.

In my opinion hurricane Beryl relief efforts are being delayed by govt seeking PR. 1. We spent all day creating care packages & going to deliver them while doing our assessments. 2. There was no sign of govt aid 3. A govt min. arrived at 4:00pm via 2 helicopters, no aid nuff chat

Any taxi operator that puts a sign on their vehicle that says “no children 12 and under” should have their road license suspended. In the 80’s there was an issue with taxis using the term “No Schoolaz” to collect more fares. We cannot go back there!

The head of the Integrity Commission is also the head of the FLA Review Board. The IC investigated the FLA & in the report questioned the decisions of former ministers as it relates to matters of the Review Board. He in effect investigated himself and got a minister fired!

The largest contributor to coastal pollution is Municipal Solid Waste. Jamaica’s coastline is suffering permanent damage. The Minister of Local Government uses tax payers $ to build a shelter for rough sleepers, then names it after himself! Once again, the focus is incorrect.

JPSCo pays the unwarranted taxes on fuel. They pass that cost on to customers, then 15% GCT is also applied to some bills. Hotter days requires fan or A/C which = more energy usage. Reducing the cost of fuel will immediately reduce our light bills. #cushionthecrisis
