Rocket girl, NASA public affairs 🚀 It’s literally my job to talk about space. ✨ Life full of Jesus, Nick, & Pippa the pup ✖️ personal account & thoughts
Spent 26 of the last 36 hours on air together — could not have asked for a better co-host for Crew-1... and new friend!!! 🚀
@whoisheartbreak
, this was the best mission yet!
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to have your goals figured out by the time you graduate high school. Or even college. It wasn’t until my senior year of college that I had a trajectory. And since then, I’ve been privileged to tell NASA’s story. Let’s go to the Moon.
After our coverage yesterday,
@whoisheartbreak
and I ran down to the first ever first stage booster that
@SpaceX
landed, just so I could stand next to it and understand its size. It seemed like the proper thing to do at nearly midnight. It was. 🚀
What’s better than a flight-proven Falcon 9? A flight-proven Falcon 9 at Christmastime 😍🚀🎄
It’s been a whole month since Crew-1 liftoff when
@whoisheartbreak
and I celebrated by jumping around the booster at
@SpaceX
😂
Best moment.
Congratulations to all of the teams at SpaceX and NASA who poured their time and talents into this mission. You continue to do incredible, impossible things!
10k of you?! 🚀 Y’all are the best! Thanks for being my cool online friends and following along with my work and life! ✨ The best is always yet to come.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-3 astronauts are coming home tonight! Earth regains four of its residents after their 6-month stay aboard the space station 👩🏼🚀🚀 Undocking coverage starts at 12:45 am ET, 9:45 pm PT. See you soon!
Even though Artemis I isn’t launchIng today, bringing an Apollo Moon rock to Mission Control was definitely a highlight in itself. 🌒
(And wow, that’s a sentence my younger self never imagined I’d say.) These teams are incredible — I can’t wait to watch them fly Orion soon.
Interesting fact for you… last year, Americans spent almost the same amount of money on Valentine’s Day ($21.8 bil) as NASA’s entire annual budget ($23.3 bil). But we’re going to the Moon on it. 🚀😎
7 years full time at NASA today.
Lot of challenges that yielded growth.
Lot of opportunities that still feel surreal (I’m looking at you, Artemis I and Crew-1 commentary).
Thanks for joining me on the journey so far — looking forward to all that lies ahead. ✨
That’s a wrap for me and Crew-3! 🐉🔥 Thank you all for joining over the last 9 hours and for all your really fantastic questions! Stay tuned for docking at 6:33 pm ET to see the 4 newest members of the
@Space_Station
family arrive at their home in low-Earth orbit.
Happy little moment on a big exciting day. You’re looking at the first woman who will fly around the Moon. Wow, wow, wow. We’ve got a phenomenal Artemis II crew to celebrate!!! 🚀🌔👩🏼🚀
#NASA
Did you watch Crew-3 return last night?! We had the BEST entry and splashdown views I’ve ever seen, and working with my friend
@kate_tice
was a joy as always!!! 🚀❤️ Welcome home, Crew Dragon Endurance.
Have you ever had to quickly explain to TSA that you’re carrying a Moon rock? 🤣 🌔 I had the wild opportunity to return this Apollo 17 sample to Houston from the Nixon Library in CA. In a few years, we’re landing the 1st woman & 1st person of color on the Moon with
@NASAArtemis
!
Had to mark the excitement I felt after our last ascent sim yesterday. 10 short days til Artemis I. It’s not lost on me as I sit in this building that 50 years ago, a bunch of people my age were sending us to the Moon for the first time. I hope we make them proud! Let’s go! 🚀🌘
5 big burns done. 🚀 Each taking Crew Dragon closer to the
@space_station
! Can you believe there are ELEVEN people in space right now?! Ready to watch my friends
@G2Nasa
,
@Courtney8easley
and
@whoisheartbreak
bring it home. ❤️ Such a proud day to work for NASA and with SpaceX.
Just watched the
@Space_Station
fly over at a gas station and a lady asked if I was looking at Venus. I don’t know too much about Venus, ma’am, but I can talk your ear off for hours regarding that tiny moving dot 😂🤍
Hatch is closed! ✅
Who’s excited?! We come back live at 8:15 pm ET for undocking and stay with you alllllll the way through splashdown and recovery. ⛴ Don’t miss it! Watch on SpaceX’s YouTube or at ! ✨
My husband and I met 6 years ago today, and one of our superb NASA photogs captured it! Almost exactly 6 years later, we saw the chance to recreate the picture and took it. We all love a good aerospace couple, right? ❤️✈️

Little known fact: I wear my ski thermals under my outfits when I work in Mission Control because I am always freezing. Always. 😅

It could not have been a more flawless return for Crew Dragon Resilience. So exhilarating, so happy! Congratulations
@NASA
and
@SpaceX
teams! From launch, to port relocate, to splashdown, is has been the biggest honor to help tell the story of the incredible things you do. 🚀
My amaaaazing dad retired today! He has supported me through every single thing I’ve ever done — the best example of an incredibly hard worker who still put his family first. This is us 5 years ago in the Apollo Mission Control Center. He’s my original space buddy. ❤️
They see me rovin’ 🚀👩🏼🚀 our Space Exploration Vehicle, or SEV, is designed not only to take astronauts from one destination to the next, but also can house them for up to 14 days! The SEV is designed for use on the Moon or Mars and has a top speed of about 6 miles per hour. 🚐💨
Today marks 60 years of human spaceflight! Yuri Gagarin expanded the frontiers of exploration when he launched into space on this day in 1961. 🚀
I love this photo, which also hangs in the Russian segment of the

November 16 marks one year since Artemis I launch, and I realized I never posted about our amazing NASA launch broadcast team — we won several Tellys!!! I’m forever grateful for that opportunity and to work with so many wonderful people. Love sharing wins with them. 🤍🚀✨
UPDATE: NASA’s
@SpaceX
Crew-1 mission is now targeting a return to Earth no earlier than ~2:57am ET (06:57 UT) Sun., May 2.
🛰️ Undocking from the
@Space_Station
is now targeted for 8:35pm ET, Sat., May 1 (00:35 UT, Sun., May 2). Details:
A year ago, we were getting ready for an Artemis press conference when I took this selfie because I thought I looked like secret service with the blazer and earpiece 💀 That’s all, hope your week is off to a good start 😂
Hard to express how breathtaking it was to see
#Crew2
streaking through the atmosphere with a fiery tail as a meteorite passed nearby, feeling the sonic booms, and watching their toasted capsule be lifted aboard SpaceX’s GO Navigator. Welcome back to Earth!!!
If you say you support spaceflight but drag companies/agencies or pit them against one another, you likely don’t support spaceflight as a whole. If you support spaceflight, you want to see everyone succeed, not just your favorite company/agency. That’s how we move forward.
You can’t pick your coworkers, but these guys will always have to deal with me regardless of our jobs because they’re great friends. Lots of hard work but just as much fun the last almost 3 weeks. Peace out, California 🚀

About to board our helo out to GO Navigator! 🚁 Nervous, excited, can’t believe I get to do these things. This is actually my first helicopter flight ever. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the sonic boom of Crew-2 announcing their return to Earth’s atmosphere!
Uncovered this gem during our Apollo 50th anniversary celebrations in 2019 and saved it to my camera roll, because it’s my favorite. This is the Apollo 11 crew in quarantine after returning to Earth. Neil Armstrong with a ukulele, Michael Collins with earplugs.
Less than 48 hours ago, I was riding Mission: SPACE. 48 hours later, I’m flying to LA to work a space mission 😂 No two days are the same (or even predictable) in this life, but they’re certainly interesting! ✨
Just a lil throwback pic to the first time I ever did NASA TV commentary in 2018 🥲 It was a Cygnus grapple/berthing and I was SO nervous! Dreams coming true feel that way sometimes I guess. I still get nervous, but mostly just really excited 🤩❤️
8 years ago: I got lucky enough in Dec. 2014 to attend the
@NASA_Orion
welcome home event at Kennedy after EFT-1. I wish I could grab this girl by the shoulders and shake her, telling her this was just the beginning of her journey with this spacecraft! I’m so, so grateful for it!
Almost 6 months ago, we sent 4 astronauts on the first long-duration commercial crew mission. 🚀 After breaking records & a number of “firsts,” Crew-1 is returning to this side of the atmosphere! Undocking coverage starts at 6 pm ET Sat., May 1 on

TV and

’s YouTube.
Go NASA, go Artemis I!!! 🌘 I simply could not pass up this employee engagement purchase. 🥰
Launch window opens Nov. 16, 1:04 am ET. Little late night launch party, am I right?! 🚀 See you then!
Space should not be “niche.” Space isn’t a hobby or pastime... we are LIVING in it! It’s the job of science communicators to speak to more than just their own audience, but to find those who don’t even know what they’re missing. Glad to know & work with so many who welcome all.
Inspired>>>tired. What an amazing week. Got two more Artemis sims under my belt, and media day today left me even more excited for this incredible mission. Just a few more weeks. 🚀❤️🌓

to attempt to rest before getting ready to watch

I launch tomorrow morning!
But it’s hard to get any sleep on mega Moon rocket eve.
So proud of my best friend
@Courtney8easley
. She nailed the ascent coverage!!! 🚀 NASA brought us together, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding, and I love how we get to cheer for each other in these milestone moments not just in our careers, but in our lives!
And… WE. ARE. LIVE! Bringing you coverage of Crew-3 launch today with
@whoisheartbreak
and our teams at Kennedy Space Center and Mission Control Houston. 🚀
This is the day
@Astro_FarmerBob
was announced as a NASA astronaut. 5 years later, he’s about to float through the Crew Dragon hatch into the
@Space_Station
! He is one who truly goes for the benefit of all. Proud to know him & excited to watch his mission unfold! Love this crew.
Two years ago, I was coming back to Houston from Crew-2 coverage in LA and was asked to be a Moon rock courier for a sample that had been on loan to a library there!
Just never had “take a Moon rock through TSA” on my bingo card 😂 The best adventures are the ones we don’t plan.
Found my dream 8 years ago today but had no idea how I’d reach it. I was just a small-town, small-college kid from north Georgia with no resources and no connections. Just had a dream and a work ethic, trying to convince NASA they needed me on their team. Thankful it worked. ✨
They dimmed the lights on our flight as it got dark outside and I thought it was because we crossed the terminator line. My body is on Earth, my brain is on the space station. 😅
As I walked up behind this sculpture in the Louvre, I yelled “It’s Artemis!” 😂🥹 I had to have a picture. One Artemis girl knows another when she sees her ✨
Happy new year, everyone! ✨ Welcome to 2023. Whatever the year holds, I know good things are bound to happen, and I’m grateful to be on the journey with you all.
