The priorities of @lambeth_council are simply awful. Their neglect of the borough's most vulnerable is commonplace, & not just in housing & repairs. Lambeth seems simply *incapable* of attending to their most basic duties & priorities as a Local Govt. Those who can, just leave.
🚨LAMBETH COUNCIL (AGAIN): Has left this resident living in this state since 2019. Since then his home has fallen to bits, including sewage filling his bath regularly. He said it’s destroying his mental health whilst Lambeth Council don’t seem to care at all. Please share 🙏🏽

How Londoners get about. The latest figures from TfL: Car usage is higher in Outer London and cycling is a bit higher in Inner & Central London but remains in the words of the report a 'niche' way of getting about.

Bravo👏👏 What a travesty that residents are forced to take their own council to court. Lambeth Council have truly lost sight of the fact they work *for* the people - all of them, not just their pals. Stoney-faced in court today, still set on their harmful & divisive ideology.
We had our day in court - holding Lambeth to account for the implementation of the west dulwich ltn. We had a strong barrister argument and it went as well as we could expect. Verdict in 6-8 weeks 🤞.

@ReconnectingOx Only conclusion is that councils simply don't care (enough) about the direct/ indirect consequences to anyone, including business. Instead adopting a "survival of the fittest" approach, essentially - stop whining, sink or swim. Councils - 1st, do no harm.

💯% He who shouts loudest - the curtain twitcher convinced he lives at London's most dangerous junction, or the RA wanting village levels of traffic. Stroking ego's works too (eg: Lambeth Council won't meet you, unless you are an admirer of their work). Prioritise safety facts😩
Road safety used to be data-led, now it’s campaigner-led.

@VincentStops @TfL @ZoeBillingham Likely the cycling lobby (4% of travel undertaken) will continue to hoover up gov't funding for AT. Integrated travel,👩🦽access & flowing buses will be thrown under the (stuck in traffic) bus, while the 4% get LTN enclaves & angry main rds. @simonlightwood

@VincentStops Limebike can choose to geolocate you & not allow you to end ride - until you park in a designated/ nearby suitable spot. No clue why they don't do this in overcrowded areas.
