Over 100 Destroyer novels, over 400 Executioner, over 400 Gunsmith, over 400 Longarm, over 400 Slocum... I know these aren't bestsellers any more but they serve as a reminder audiences aren't always discerning. Sometimes we just want to be distracted from life.

Pilgrimage to Hell is my third Deathlands listen despite being book 1. These are chock full of action and adventure and will put hair on your chest. The hippy Gaia Earth mother stuff hasn't made sense yet so I'm waiting on an explanation for that. Presuming one comes.

Heck I know some authors unpublished their first books or strongly recommend avoiding them as they are now embarrased by their early efforts. Doesn't Sanderson even claim his earliest books were bad?

Even a disclaimer is enough for me to avoid the game. You're profiting off of it. Be bold. Be proud. Or be silent.

This series is one I'm getting into but there's over 200 releases including spinoffs. It's still going after nearly 40 years. There have to be fans out there but I've never heard anyone mention it.

Listened to book 2 again. Easy listening. Action, romance, action, diplomacy, action, comedy, and action. It isn't afraid to embrace the gonzo level craziness and play it straight.

So much fun. My thumbnail got burnt sooo many times because causing mini explosions in your hand at 6 or 7 was the height of cool. The guns were cool too. Got in trouble using my dad's hammer to pop them once.

And if I love the digital, I will usually buy the physical compilation if one is released. It's good marketing and I know they're not the only 2 doing it.

Under $5 is where I generally stay. Why? Many reasons. Supply and demand, used books are often cheaper, market value, licensed content vs. ownership, subscription alternatives, and a big one is I just don't read the format often so I don't value it as much.

What should you pay for an E-book? Why do you think that?

Listened to book 1 again with the intent to catch up to the GraphicAudio releases this year. Just as fun the second time.

I started reading @TomKingTK 's Wonder Woman run. So far, so great. Issue 14 was my first and day 17 sold me to hunt down the rest. Not the most dynamic page, but pitch perfect.

I've read this series a few times. It is near perfection. Glad to see it get the deluxe treatment.
