It always has been occupied. Israel controls the access to food, electricity, water, and the flow of sewage and Israel can invade at anytime. Gaza is a giant prison camp. Gaza is just a larger area with no Israeli military checkpoints than in the West Bank = still occupied!

That's because they're not originally Arabs. They were Arabized in language and religion. Palestinians are the offspring of ancient Canaanite populations. We know this from DNA studies and comparisons with ancient populations from archaeology sites from the immediate region.
