From the streets, to Congress and in the courts, we will not concede our power. Even as we celebrate action to block Musk's unlawful power grab at the Treasury, we know they will keep trying. Pressure must continue to be applied.
A federal judge temporarily blocks political appointees and special government employees, including those who work for DOGE, from accessing sensitive and confidential information stored within the Treasury Department.

Three campesino cooperatives in the Aguan Valley in #Honduras have been under attack by armed criminals. Two people have been killed, 28 injured & dozens displaced. Last year, I saw firsthand how the coops build communities from the ground-up and offer economic opportunities to hundreds of families who may otherwise migrate from Honduras. The violence must end, and the armed groups must be held accountable!

I have advocated for the funding, technology, and border security solutions needed to stop the illegal smuggling of fentanyl into the US by US citizens. But, substance use is a health crisis and should be treated with health care solutions. The HALT Fentanyl Act doubles down on bad policy when what we need is an investment in public health interventions, universal healthcare, and criminal-legal system reform. That's why I voted NO.
