My grandpa Thomas LaFramboise, Chief chemist at Ford auto Glass division, sometime in the 60s. Slept in a bar booth in Detroit from 6-18 years old, ran a paper route to eat and saved what he could, paid for his own way through UofDetroit, served in the army, made all kinds of new glass and crystals in his career, and made a family of 4, now we’re 12 - he passed last year. Dude was too based, my whole family is downstream from this guy being hardcore. Him and the people from that generation built the whole country - thanks grandpa.

haven't seen anyone talking this EO, a REALLY BIG deal. mandates the creation of a space-based missile system that can (between the lines) annihilate any target on Earth on the order of minutes, and defend itself with lasers. if built, America will unchallengeably rule the world

Totally, just spent the week with DoD/active duty stakeholders - they were very excited when I said the business plan is to cut Lockheed down at the knees
American weapons programs need to be completely redone. The current strategy is to build a small number of weapons at a high price to fight yesterday’s war. Unless there are immediate and dramatic changes made, America will lose the next war very badly.
