In a "pod" visit with my mum in her care home, I wasn't allowed to bring in a book that I wanted to read to her (she was blind and had dementia and used to love me reading to her) - even though we were 6 metres apart, divided by a screen.

Mum was completely blind (from 11 years of age) and dad was completely deaf (since his 30s) and blind in his last few years.
I will never forgive those responsible for keeping me out of their lives for their last year.

It would appear that the UK has approved the Pfizer "autumn booster" which targets the BA.1 variant, whilst the USA and the EU have approved the one which targets the BA.4/5 variants (supposedly the dominant strains). One has to ask, why?

The "vaccine" was approved on the basis that it prevented people from contracting covid 19, not preventing covid deaths. It was never trialled on those "most at risk" - one of the reasons I didn't consent to my parents getting it.

My mum and dad were put on the EOL pathway in March 2021 - food and liquid withdrawn. Dad was given Midazolam and morphine; mum was prescribed Midazolam (didn't "need" it). Died five days apart. I have their medical records.

In December 2020, I refused consent for my very elderly parents to be "vaccinated". After a blanket vaccination was placed on their care home, I was told that I had to explain to their doctor why I didn't consent. What did I know then that so many others (seemingly) didn't know?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Colin, but didn't you support lockdowns? Have you any idea of the impact lockdowns had on people with Alzheimers/dementia? People such as my mum who were denied access to their family and locked away in a care home for the last year of their lives.
