I'm never, ever going to pivot away from writing to audio-visual content formats. Simple reason being that the vast majority of the information available in the world has always been, and will continue to be exclusively available in writing. No text-to-visual AI, audiobook, TikTok, or whatever new flavour of the generation in existence is going to change the simple fact that humanity's primary method for recording and accessing information will always be the written word. Ergo, the world has always belonged, and will always continue to belong to those who read. If my people can read and write, and they have unprecedented instant, high-speed, cheap, and portable access to the accumulated written information of all known human civilisations, but they have collectively decided that reading is too much hard work and is not for them, then maybe my people deserve whatever will happen to a group of functional illiterates in the 21st century. It's just a shame because our ancestors once fought and died for the right to learn how to read and unlock information that had been hidden from them. How utterly disappointed they would be if they could see their descendants who think that reading and comprehension are secondary to being constantly entertained and fed with temporary dopamine highs.

Nice read
Why is it that only women are viewed as unable to consent to sex while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs? It’s always completely disregarded when the man was also under the influence. Are men somehow magically less cognitively impaired, thus less liable to make poor decisions, as women are while under the influence?
