Such terrible news, my thoughts out to the lad's family and friends.
We're saddened to learn that John Cooney has passed away at the age of 28. Cooney underwent surgery to relieve pressure on his brain following his defeat at Ulster Hall last Saturday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace.
