PSA: the Dodgers did not “get rid” of Joc and Kiké. They were free agents and “chose” to sign elsewhere based on playing time (Kiké too). And no, McKinstry is not better than Kiké, but Chris Taylor is. Please move on. Even I have and Joc is one of my favorite goons ever.
The Phillies players ALL stayed for Bohm.
The Dodgers players (besides Glasnow) left him.
@BenVerlander
is disappointed in the Dodgers and thinks this speaks volumes about the Phillies
Controversial call? Yes.
Would I be pissed? Yes.
Were the giants down to their last strike either way? Yes.
Did the Giants out-hit or out-play the Dodgers? Nope.
Do y’all need a reminder?
@JesseFFerguson
It is heartbreaking that children even have to do ‘active shooter’ drills, let alone fear losing their friends at such a young age. I do however, hope that this mother sincerely knows she has done an incredible job raising such a brave and kind young man.
I fuckin love Justin Turner so much. Did y’all see his IG video where he signed a bunch of baseballs and had them delivered to Dodger fans at Petco?
Honestly, after he retires build the statue, retire 10, name a street after him, all of it. The guy is truly Mr. Los Angeles.
People upset Joe Davis is calling the game tonight like he’s some sort of Dodgers homer without a single word that we’ve all had to suffer through the Smoltz homerism all week sure is something.
Julio Urías goes for his 15th win of the season tonight. The only
#Dodgers
who were the first in
#MLB
to 15 wins in a season:
Joe McGinnity (1900)
Don Newcombe (1955)
Don Drysdale (1962)
Sandy Koufax (1963, 1964, 1965, and 1966)
Clayton Kershaw (2017)

Today is the 10th Anniversary of Clayton Kershaw’s only career no-hitter.
Kershaw became the first pitcher in MLB history to record 15 strikeouts without allowing a hit or walk.
#Dodgers
You guys, Kiké is the perfect bench guy. Hate him all you want, but he brings energy and joy, a righty with some pop, proven postseason guy, and if he pinch hits late in a game, he can play anywhere and not hurt them defensively.
#sorrynotsorry
Clayton Kershaw is not a bad postseason pitcher. His worst outings are 95% poor management and having no one else to rely on (+inherited runs), 4% hitters knew what pitch was coming, 1% pitching injured. Argue with a wall and just admit you don’t actually watch him pitch.
Clayton Kershaw allowed just one hit, which was erased on a double play, in four scoreless innings. He threw 40 pitches and is throwing more in the bullpen.
All I can say is Pujols is clearly going to be a better PH option than Neuse, Raley, and Peters and also a little bummed Joc isn’t with the Dodgers still because Champ.
THIS AMAZING KID JUST SAID A WHOLE SENTENCE.
That’s right, my nonverbal autistic 8yo boy just strung 5 words together in a complete sentence, nbd. (JK IT’S A BIG FUCKING DEAL!!!)
Fuck it, I’m wearing my Kershaw hoisting the WS trophy shirt today because Clayton Kershaw is a World Series Champion and y’all can NEVER take that joy from me.
Who knows, maybe it’s the spark the boys need.
