Harold James Preller. RIP
@padresjagoff
. The hot new Padres themed Twitter that's sweeping
#PadresTwitter
. Not the actual Padres tweeting dick jokes!
It pains me to say it but it’s time to boycott my beloved Carlsbad Costco. I tipped over my cart and dumped everything out in protest when I saw it. My 9 year old daughter is still in tears from seeing this disgusting display.
Josh Hader, asked his thinking behind not making himself available for 4 outs: "It's the situation that we were at."
Asked to clarify, he said, "Are we in the playoff race?"
Technically, yes, but it would take a miracle, to which he said, "You guys want me to do everything."
NEW: CA will be opening mass vaccination sites this week including Dodgers Stadium, Padres Stadium, and CalExpo.
Our goal continues to be fast, equitable, and safe vaccinations statewide.
Was just chatting with my 2 year old daughter about the Padres game and she said: “daddy, the padres are gonna win because they’re playing a city that couldn’t even manage to subdue the Pennsylvania Mutiny of 1873 which directly led to the U.S. capital moving away”
Chills.
Hey. Guess what? Relief pitchers give up walks. They hit batters. They give up hits. Sometimes they even give up runs!! The goal is to get in the dugout with a 0 on the board. Every Padres fan should be bowing to Austin Adams. Last 35 appearances? ONE earned run. 👑
KUSI News has invited the Padres Superfans back on our air so they can reverse the curse that started after they performed the infamous "That's What's In" rap last October.
They have not yet accepted our invitation.
Padres have won 8 out of 12 series, just ask Mike Shildt. They are 18-19 over that period which shows how devastating getting swept is. This pathetic sweep undoes the series wins vs KC, MIA, and CIN.
Here’s Acee getting choked up about fans being too mean to poor Eric Hosmer. Wait til Hos gets a taste of Boston local media that doesn’t regularly give him a blumpkin like he got here.
There are a lot of unknowns going into the Padres-Mets series but one thing that is known and 100% factual is that Pete Alonso has never denounced ISIS, and in fact, has chosen to continue refusing to publicly denounce ISIS.
The Rangers fired their longtime President of Baseball Operations and didn’t need to tear everything down and instead his successor improved the team and advanced to the ALCS the very next season? Interesting.
wow Peter Seidler found the remedy for the Padres was to invest in the product, focus on growing revenues instead of slashing costs, properly compensate employees, and listen & act on customer feedback, but really, maybe he’s found the remedy for the problems ailing the U S of A
Tatis, the probable MVP and NL leader in home runs, comes back from injury to hit 2 bombs
Acee: You have to credit this offensive improvement to hosmer for his inspiring clubhouse speech
Why should any of us or the national media care if Seidler loses money? The longtime dream has been an owner that doesn’t care about annual cash flow more than winning a championship. And it looks like we finally have that.
Dylan Lesko sucked, Bush was Buddy Reed for a new generation. Neither was going to extend our window beyond 2025. Maximizing this year and next is the smart move and hopefully they aren’t done.
Remember in April when the Padres blew a bunch of games and pulled starters after like 4 innings for no reason and people were like “it’s ok, this team is saving it up for september” lololololololol I remember
Ello on Soto: “I’m not sold on his ability to be a good teammate” “He’s a diva”
San Diego local media kicking outgoing players in the nuts, a tradition unlike any other
There isn't any fucking way that
@JomboyMedia
was stupid enough to think this was an appropriate level of edgy. Calling a team broke hours after their owner died is cruel and pathetic behavior even from Yankees fans.
Padres Twitter needs to get down their throats, violently.
One thing clear from Acee’s tenure in San Diego is he is willing to do a hit piece on a [deserving] player but unwilling to do so with management and ownership. He suckled at the teat of Spanos & Fowler and he does the same with Seidler. We need him to address the real issues.
What these armchair casuals don’t understand is is that you just can’t expect the Padres to win every series against bonafide World Series hopefuls like the Pirates, Nationals, and Royals.
You think it’s bad the Chargers moved away from San Diego? Imagine being a terrible city like Philadelphia that had the capital of the United States move away lolololololol
Jomboy’s video is still up, it is monetized, and the ads are still active. Their “apology” is completely meaningless and it’s arguably even more tasteless to “apologize” while happily collecting the monetized views from calling our tragically deceased owner “broke”
I just want to be clear, those who want Preller gone, do you also want Fernando, Manny, Juan, Xander, Joe, Yu, Jake, and Ha-Seong gone? Do you want Merrill, Salas, Lesko, and Snelling dealt? Because if AJ goes, so does at least 7 or 8 of those guys.
Who could have guessed that rich hill, the worst starter in baseball at the time of the trade, would continue to be the worst starter in baseball after the trade. Just baffling.

Shildt: “I’m going to take exception with the word ‘guilty’. We lost 34 counts. I’m gonna repeat it cuz I think it clearly needs to be repeated. I’m not defending that we lost 34 counts. I’m not alibiing that. It’s a different answer of beating ourself, they prosecuted well”
Interesting that the U-T decided to remove details of the victim’s physical trauma that were included in the LA Times article. The U-T article was written by an SDSU alum.
Honestly, the only reason the Padres are even in playoff contention is because of Melvin’s performance managing extra innings. Most MLB teams are +/- 2 games from .500 in extras and we’re 8 games +.
I’ve heard from inside sources that the Padres forced the Coach firing because of his constant pressuring to add veterans off the bench when they have zero intention to sign any veterans for the bench.
So weird watching a Padres game with an actually sharp picture without subpar camera work and no constant stream of selling awful theme game packages and no Mike Pomeranz eating up an entire half inning talking about Paul Skenes while ignoring the action
Eric Hosmer is still a Padre for now.
Team in a tough spot here.
There has been a division for some time between front office and clubhouse on how to proceed with clubhouse leader.
jesus
coach caller: “since everyone’s playing gm, I think a guy that might fit in well is juan santo”
coach: “you mean juan soto?”
coach caller: “yeah juan soto. I think he’d look good on this roster”
later suggests they could trade lamet for him
