The Audit for the March Primary was conducted yesterday returning a 100% result! 5% of ALL votes cast (Election Day, Provisional, Absentee and In Office) are hand counted by bipartisan teams to ensure the accuracy of our tabulation machines!
L&A testing is the systematic pre-election testing of every component of a voting system with every ballot style to demonstrate that the ballots are accurate and that votes cast will be tabulated properly.
Ohio law requires that every voter, upon appearing at the polling location to vote on Election Day, must announce their full name and current address and provide photo identification.
The Board office will be closed January 10th - 12th to attend Ohio Association of Election Officials Winter Conference. We will reopen on January 16th.
On Tuesday the Board conducted the Audit for the Nov. 7th General Election. A hand count requiring 5% of votes cast in the county to ensure accuracy. Also during the meeting, the Board did the Official Canvas for the Ironton Mayoral Runoff Election!
