Her letter is how it’s done. Danielle Sassoon should be commended for doing the right thing in the face of what I imagine was immense political pressure to do something shady instead. We need a lot more people with her backbone in government.

The McConnell nays are revealing in that they reflect the actual preferences of about a third, depending, of his colleagues but said colleagues won’t express as much bc Trump trumps the views, history and competence of the nominees

I am again proud of @SenMcConnell’s vote.
McConnell: “Individuals, parents, and families have a right to push for a healthier nation and demand the best possible scientific guidance on preventing and treating illness. But a record of trafficking in dangerous conspiracy theories and eroding trust in public health institutions does not entitle Mr. Kennedy to lead these important efforts.”
