@VoriesCraft He was the Commander at Fort Sumter. I am just over 100 pages into it. There are some truly despicable prominent figures that led to the South's secession.

@VoriesCraft It's a 500 pager, it will certainly fill the time. The leadership lessons revolve around MAJ Anderson and his role at Fort Sumter as the Civil War was igniting. It is non-fiction and well researched with a compelling storyline.

@VoriesCraft Lol, it's enough until the next one is due next week! That one is not nearly so long. The War College is all about pacing yourself. I will read more of Demon of Unrest (for me), it was recommended by a mentor for my Field Grades as part of my LPD program. It's pretty good!

@ChunkyFlamingo @peoples_unicorn This is not how we keep people in the Army. 😒 Fortunately, he has you, and I know you have probably already assisted. 😊

@christen_rexing Atta girl, I am just over 4 miles on my tread today - not sure I was prepared for the three .75 mile interval runs but I did them and finished walking on a 4% incline to hit 10000 steps. 💪🏃♀️

@Taberisagrunt @StolenValor1 @SomeWelder I think officers may serve over 20-years because either they are competing for Colonel, have been selected and want high-3, or are in a leadership track and are still competing. Many enlisted IMO are ready to take their experience, retirement, and try something else

@Taberisagrunt @StolenValor1 @SomeWelder They do, and sometimes there's an early look "below the zone", then it's "primary zone" in your on-target year, and then for a couple years after if not selected you still get looked at "above the zone"

@PK50ae I don't get how they didn't read them first, see mature or violent themes and just not put them in the library.
