Del was 24hrs a day around baseball whether at a park or talking it. I loved watching him catch and play with all that swag. That was an unbelieveable team. Won hs and legion state championships led by Del. :(

Curious if baseball players will prioritize hs teams or travel teams once June 10th comes and teams are traveling to NJ, NC, FL, GA for highly recruiting tournaments. Think many parents will be in panic mode with a lack of recruiting this year I wonder what they will choose.

Always play the top teams as your team will be prepared. Too many HS teams struggle for opponents because they are looking for a dub. Establish relationships and play the top programs each year

Like other states do. Best players on Varsity. Next best on JV. Then next best on JV2. Makes sense right? Instead of not having enough for freshmen etc etc. I agree 100% for you and think with the state of sports with numbers it should be done across the board
Random Thought on MA HS Baseball. Why not change the structure from Freshman/JV to something like "Sub-Varsity 1" and "Sub-Varsity 2"? All Fr/So/Jr eligible for both rosters. The freedom it gives coaches/programs to provide more playing time and challenges with less restriction.

Don't tell me legion baseball isn't in trouble-GA has 0 teams, Texas 6, Oklahoma 6 and Arizona 14 teams. I have great memories of zone playoffs, state 2 out of 3's, State elite 8's, regionals, etc. Like the set up much better than travel ball but I don't c it coming back :(

1) Anyone can be replaced, it’s how you perform.

As difficult as it is the calendar doesn’t stop. As my dad taught me thru good and bad u keep moving. So continue to only worry about what u can control as your best years are in front of you. I’m just sad as I was hoping to come out of retirement
